End of 2008 season newsletter

There will be no training on Thursday the 18th.

The Soccer School comes to a close on Friday 19th December. We will close with a family game of football and a BBQ at Wellesley Park 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Everyone is welcome. Could everyone please bring $10 next Tuesday so we can purchase meat, dessert and drinks. Thank you to Best Fresh Wholesalers for supplying the fruit and vegetables.

I would like to personally take this opportunity to thank each and every participant for their effort, time and for the spirit and determination in which they have practiced. It has been a very encouraging first season and quite amazing how each and every one of you has improved their ball mastery. I look forward to seeing you all again next year on the 12th of February 2009.

There will be an information session late January regarding the 2009 Morton’s Soccer School programme. There are some new and exciting initiatives underway. Please register your interest ASAP with Vicki 0417 597 643 or bakecake@bigpond.net.au

Another important Date: Next Wednesday 11am we have a promotional event which we would like as many Soccer School players as possible to attend. There will be a penalty shoot-out on Parliament house lawns between The Premier, Opposition Leader and other VIPs, with the goal keeper expected to be the great Mark Bosnich. Please come dressed in your full Soccer School attire ready to demonstrate your tricks and turns. Wollongong players please wear your blue strip.
