HEJA is used for day-to-day Academy information including training schedules, team information and general updates.

Important operational information, including training cancellations, weather issues and venue changes, may also be sent by email and SMS where consent has been provided.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that their contact details remain current.

Uniforms

Players are expected to wear the appropriate South Hobart FC Academy training uniform.

Uniform costs are separate from Morton’s Soccer School training fees.

Uniforms can be purchased at training. Please contact Victoria Morton for details.

New players attending a trial session do not need to purchase a uniform before attending.

Playing for South Hobart Football Club

Morton’s Soccer School provides the Academy training program for South Hobart Football Club.

South Hobart FC player registration is separate from Morton’s Soccer School Academy enrolment and training fees.

Players intending to play for South Hobart FC must complete the appropriate Football Australia registration through Play Football when registrations open.

Junior Academy players may train with Morton’s Soccer School without necessarily playing for South Hobart FC.

Morton’s Soccer School also welcomes players from other clubs who wish to participate in Academy training.

The allocation of South Hobart FC players to teams is at the discretion of South Hobart FC and Academy coaching staff.

How to Enrol

Every player must complete the Morton’s Soccer School Sign-up Pack.

Please complete a separate form for each child.

The Sign-up Pack collects:

  • player and parent/guardian details

  • Academy program

  • training selection

  • communication details

  • SMS consent

  • payment information

Once the Sign-up Pack has been completed, families will be directed to the appropriate Ezidebit payment setup where payment is required.

Current Academy fees are shown as part of the enrolment and payment process.

Annual Enrolment

All players, including returning players, must complete a new Morton’s Soccer School Sign-up Pack each year.

Academy fees are reviewed annually and all existing Academy payment subscriptions are cancelled at the end of each season.

Returning players must therefore complete the current year’s enrolment and establish the new payment arrangement before recommencing Academy training.

Split Payments

Families wishing to divide Academy fees between two households should contact Morton’s Soccer School before completing the Ezidebit payment setup.

A separate split-payment arrangement can then be provided.

Split-payment arrangements are not offered through the standard public enrolment form.

U19 and Older Players

Standard Youth Academy fees apply only to players eligible for U18 football or below.

Players aged U19 and above who train within the senior Academy structure are not charged through the standard Youth Academy payment process.

Please contact Morton’s Soccer School if you are unsure which arrangement applies.
