SOUTH HOBART FOOTBALL CLUB’S 2024 HOLIDAY CLINIC PROGRAM

Morton’s Soccer School will be powering South Hobart Football Club’s School Holiday Clinics in 2024.

The upcoming holiday clinic dates for kids aged 6-12 are:

• July Clinic (Week 1) - 9, 10 & 11 July 2024 (Wellesley Park) - bookings open

• NEW July Clinic (Week 2) - 16, 17 & 18 July 2024 (Wellesley Park) - bookings open

• October Clinic - 1, 2 & 3 October 2024 (venue TBC)

Our program will run from 9am to 2pm. Each day will include individual ball mastery skills, technical drills, tactical sessions, small-sided games and a daily World Cup tournament. Players that attend multiple days will be set homework to learn the core values within soccer which can be transferred into life. Our coaches will positively impact the lives of children during the course of the program helping them to improve their skills and confidence, and also to help them learn what it means to be a good sports player and person, with Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Leadership.

ALL ARE WELCOME! If your kids love playing football then they will love these holiday clinics, and parents will love our quality coaching in a supportive, disciplined, but fun environment. Children are fully supervised by qualified and highly experienced Coaches.

All children are welcome regardless of skill level and you do not need to play for South Hobart FC or train with MSS to participate. You can book as many days as you wish. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to book.

A bit of HOLIDAY CLINIC Housekeeping

Below is a bit of housekeeping so you know what to do, particularly if your children haven't been to one of our clinics before.

ARRIVAL AT VENUE 

Our Clinics start at 9:00am and finish at 2pm for each day. Please do not drop your children off earlier than 8:30am.

If the clinic is held at WELLESLEY PARK, SOUTH HOBART you access Wellesley Park via Wellesley Street - go to end of the street.

If the clinic is held at THE FRIENDS SCHOOL SPORTS GROUNDS, NEW TOWN you access The Friends School Sports Grounds via Queens Walk.

On arrival at the venue, please go to the registration desk to check your children in. DO NOT DROP THEM OFF WITHOUT CHECKING THEM IN PLEASE. You will need to report to the registration desk each day attended, so we know exactly who has arrived for that day.

WHAT TO BRING

Remember to bring plenty of drinks, morning tea and lunch. We will be utilising the shelter throughout the day as required. Please ensure that your children wear comfortable clothes, brings their shin guards and football boots (mouth guards are optional).

WEATHER

All training is outdoors. Make sure your children are prepared for any weather (pack spare clothes if raining, warm coat if cold etc). Clinics will go ahead if the weather is inclement and will only be cancelled for extreme/severe weather. If a clinic day is cancelled due to extreme weather (eg an electrical storm) then you will receive a full refund for that day. We will be utilising our shelter as necessary.

COLLECTION OF CHILDREN

These Holiday Clinics finish at 2pm each day and your children must be collected by 2:15pm. If, due to circumstances beyond your control, you will be late please call Ned on 0411 150 443 so he knows why you are late and can reassure your children that you have not forgotten them.

EQUIPMENT HYGIENE

• Equipment is cleaned regularly

• Training bibs are washed

For Holiday Clinic bookings, please select the program then select number of days you wish to book. Once you have made your selection, you will be required to complete a form with your child’s details, dates attending, relevant medical information and emergency contacts before moving on to the checkout for payment. All prices are GST inclusive. Terms and Conditions apply for participating in these clinics. 

If you cancel your booking a $15 cancellation fee will apply to cover the cost of administration and transaction fees. This amount will be deducted from your refund.
